Colm Feore to play the Dollmaker in Gotham
Prolific Canadian-American actor Colm Feore is adding another villain role to his resumé.
Feore has been cast in the Fox TV hit Gotham as the Dollmaker, online sources report.
The character, a.k.a. Dr. Francis Dulmacher, was already referenced in an early Gotham episode as the person behind mass kidnappings of Gotham’s street children, Deadline Hollywood says.
The Dollmaker also appeared in the DC Comics-inspired Arrow, played by Michael Eklund.
Feore’s villain cred includes roles as Donald Menken in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and King Laufey in Thor. His numerous TV roles include playing Pierre Elliott Trudeau in the TV movie Trudeau, the husband of a president in 24 and a cardinal trying to overthrow a corrupt pope in The Borgias.
In Canada, the Boston-born actor is known for his stage roles at the Stratford Festival, most recently as the lead in King Lear, which is being turned into a feature film.
Gotham airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on CTV.
