iConnect, a cloud-based web, iPhone, and iPad POS development firm located in Greenwood Village, CO, has announced a deal with skoah, a personal skin care company based in Vancouver, Canada, to provide the company’s ten Canadian and U.S. based locations with a revolutionary point of sale system. This is a big step forward for both companies, as iConnect is excited for the opportunity to work with and grow alongside a leader in the health and beauty industry.
skoah is a personal skin care company based in Vancouver, Canada. Starting out with a line of just five products and a single brick and mortar location, skoah has grown to dozens of products in ten locations across Canada and the U.S. skoah is owned by Chris and Andrea Scott. As retail and customer experience lovers, their focus is on creating ecstatic customers, one face at a time. With this focus, skoah continues to grow as a world leader in skin care products. “Working with skoah is going to be great for the growth of our companies, and we envision a huge move forward for skoah in terms of technology and the ease of running day to day business operations,” says iConnect founder Subodh Gupta. “iConnect has come a long way, and we are honored to be working with a leader in the beauty and health industry like skoah.”
Currently, the development team at iConnect is working on custom improvements included in the deal between the two companies. To prepare for the new system’s implementation, skoah’s management is in the process of training its employees on the iConnect system. The company hopes to complete training and implementation within the next month and go live with iConnect towards the end of Q1.
Not only is this partnership an indicator of growth for iConnect, but it is also evidence that larger businesses like skoah are seeing the benefits to POS 2.0 systems like iConnect. With eight locations currently, skoah will be able to utilize the built-in cloud technology of iConnect to share inventory, customers, employees, and other data across all stores. This will also allow for future expansion of skoah’s stores, which owner Chris Scott foresees as definitely happening over the next few years.
