Mississauga double stabbing leaves 2 people injured
A double stabbing that took place early Saturday morning at a Mississauga hotel has left two people injured.
The incident occurred at around 3 a.m. near Dixie Road and Matheson Boulevard, just south of Highway 401. Peel paramedics confirmed two victims were found at a hotel in the area.
Paramedics say a 30-year-old man was transported to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto with stab wounds to his face and neck while a woman in her mid 20s was sent to a local area hospital with minor injuries.
Both victims were transported in stable condition and are expected to survive, according to paramedics.
