Washington’s best-known former intern Monica Lewinsky is shopping around a tell-all book detailing her sexcapades with former U.S. President Bill Clinton, according to American publications.

Clinton’s much-publicized dalliances with then 22-year-old Lewinsky — and his convoluted denial that oral sex didn’t amount to sex — in part, almost got the impeached Clinton sacked from the world’s most powerful political office.

Lewinsky, who turns 40 next July, is said to be shopping her top-secret book to publishers, and if written as promised, it could easily rocket to the top of must reads in a U.S. hungry to finally get the tawdry details of the two-year tryst.

The New York Post reports that before publishers are even allowed to take a meeting with the infamous White House intern, they must sign a nondisclosure agreement.

The popular Big Apple tabloid is prepared to take the veil off secret love letters to Clinton — the man she once called her sexual soul mate — and detail as well his appetite for kinky sex in her $ 12-million memoirs.

The Post reports that according to Lewinsky’s friends, she is bent on revenge for a life shelved while Clinton went on to become a wealthy respected 66-year-old political statesman and currently a top Barack Obama political campaigner.

“I’m well-known for something that isn’t great to be well-known for,” Lewinsky, who never married, reportedly said in 1999. Since those years, Lewinsky has obtained a master’s degree, worked briefly as a news correspondent and launched a failed handbag line. Her friends complained to the Post that because of her past she can’t find a job.

Lewinsky, who has remained relatively silent on details about her encounters with Clinton, now plans to describe his “insatiable desire” for sex, one friend told the National Enquirer.

The story broke in 1998 after Lewinsky was secretly taped talking about her trysts by then best friend Linda Tripp, who reported her to Special Prosecutor Ken Starr.

Actually, Clinton was impeached by the House for perjury and obstruction of justice in the Paula Jones sexual harassment case. Clinton was subsequently acquitted by the Senate.
