PolitiChicks-I’m originally from Texas—7th generation—but have lived in Los Angeles most of my adult life. Dr. Gina Loudon is originally from Missouri but now lives in San Diego, and Morgan Brittany is a native Californian.
PolitiChicks-We believe today’s feminist movement impedes women more than it empowers them. Our book, What Women Really Want, is meant to encourage women to be whomever they want to be—including that career the feminist movement seems to detest: stay-at-home mom. What Women Really Want also urges women to get informed and involved in everything from their local school system to politics.
PolitiChicks-The three of us speak across the country and make frequent appearances on radio and television. Wherever we go, the voices we hear speaking loudest are women, which is why our website PolitiChicks.com features hundreds of women writers from across the United States. We decided in order to become even more effective and influential we needed a book to convey and spread our message.
Paul Collins–If you could compare your book to any other existing works, which ones would it be and why?
PolitiChicks- Even though they’re not women, I’d say we were inspired by the works of other political activist leaders like Andrew Breitbart, Mark Levin, and Dennis Prager. We also love Sarah Palin’s tenacity, and the way she refuses to back down no matter who tries to knock her down.
Paul Collins–Tell us about your latest work and what inspired you.
PolitiChicks-We’re always busy with all-things-PolitiChicks.com, and will be headline speakers at the upcoming Unite IE Conservative Conference in California. We are also beginning our 2nd book together, to be announced as soon as possible.
