An all-time record 73 race horses are registered to compete in this season’s Rolex Kentucky three-day event, promoted by Bridgestone Tires, which comes back to the Kentucky Equine Park in Lexington, KY, April 26-29.

A worldwide field of former Rolex Kentucky champions and Olympic veterans consists of some of the sports most significant names from the United States Of America, Canada, The United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia.

The 2012 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Sporting Event, the West’s only four star three-day event, boasts the 15th Rolex USEF Four Star Championship for the U.S. Equestrian Team Foundation Pinnacle Cup. The special event is an element of the HSBC FEI ClassicsTM featuring the worlds greatest horses and competitors competing for their share of $ 250,000, a stunning rolex watch, reward money in addition to a shot at the $ 350,000 Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing which is presented to any horse rider who wins the Rolex Kentucky, Mitsubishi Motors Badminton and Land Rover Burghley Four Star Events in succession.

This years event also boasts selection trials to decide on the U.S. Eventing team for the 2012 London Olympics guaranteeing that the nations best horses and riders will be at their finest as they are competing for places on the team for this summers Olympic games.
